This little corner of the internet is where

I’ll be sharing my love for sewing, creativity, and all things handmade

and I’d love for you to join me on this journey.

I’m Evie — originally from Poland, but for the last 20 years

I’ve called London my home.

My love for sewing began when I was just 6 years old.

I’ll never forget watching my beloved auntie create the most magical dress

for a winter ball — it was for the wife of Poseidon,

and the gown was like something out of a dream.

White, silver, and gold, with tiny fish and jellyfish details

that shimmered as I wore it.

I felt like the queen of the sea.

It wow-ed me so much, I never forgot it 

and from that moment on, I was hooked.

Over the years, my passion for fashion and creativity only grew.

I fell in love with fabrics, patterns, and colors 

and I started to notice how anything could be transformed

into something magical.

I’ve been sewing for the last 15 years,

but I often struggled to find patterns that felt just right.

So, I started designing my own — and that’s how Evie Sews was born.

Sewing means everything to me.

It makes me feel calm, happy, and alive.

When I create, I feel like I’m home.

I still remember how confusing and frustrating it can be when

you’re just starting out — struggling to understand complicated patterns,

unsure of where to begin.

That’s why I design my sewing patterns to be as simple and

beginner-friendly as possible, with clear step-by-step

instructions and video tutorials to guide you every stitch of the way.

I believe sewing is a kind of lost knowledge 

and that’s such a shame, because it can be life-changing.

When you know how to sew, you can express your unique style,

create meaningful things with your hands, and step away from fast fashion.

You don’t need a lot of money to look different 

you just need a little creativity, and the confidence to try.

So whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned maker,
